The Grimm Heir: Serene

At the end of chapter two, Serene is introduced as Liam's girlfriend and we first meet her when she calls him. Over the course of their conversation we learn a few things about Serene. She is not a good cook. She is quite mild-tempered, to Liam's knowledge. And she tends to see things logically, instead of emotionally, which makes her Liam's perfect match.
She also has a secret.
She is also a Grimm whose power is similar to Liam's but with a sinister twist. Instead of simply sensing the emotions in others, she can also feed of those emotions, manipulating them into feeling only what she wants them to. She is observed using this power over Liam countless times in the story but because he is unaware of it, so too are the readers. She can also control and squelch her own emotions, which is why she is never seen losing her temper or falling apart.
She has been trained from a young age to be a controlled and stable Grimm. Her parents had high hopes for her, being two powerful Grimms themselves. Their plan to dominate the Grimm Realm is thwarted constantly by Liam's father who is also a powerful and very influential Grimm.
Serene knows that Liam is a Grimm but is not allowed to tell him that she is also a Grimm because it would interfere with the plan that placed her in his life – her parent's plan. She is meant only to be a spy – or at least, that was her understanding of the plan. The plan changes once Liam meets his father. Fearing that he will soon learn too much, Serene's parents order her to do the unthinkable: kill Liam's father before he has the chance to tell him anything important.
It is after this that Serene's powers become more apparent to the reader and those around Liam start to see differences in her behavior. She seems to control Liam more and almost treats him as a puppet. And Liam, oblivious and susceptible to her charms, gives in willingly and allows her to control him.
But then Layla enters the picture and things change yet again for Serene. Layla presents a problem that cannot be solved and she continuously comes between the two. Serene and Layla know the full extent of the other's powers but neither is willing to budge or compromise.
In the end, the stronger of the two survives.

Appearance: Dark brown/black hair, light blue eyes that sometimes look grey. She's a full head shorter than Liam (about 5'6")
Likes: Power? haven't given that very much thought I'm afraid.
Dislikes: Her parents… the reason for that is in the story [but I don't think that really –needs- a reason].
Powers: Emotional Manipulation, among other general Grimm powers.
Weaknesses: None… well… none that I can reveal just yet.
