Literature Text

This well, it never runs quite dry
This blood, it never bleeds quite right.

This quill, this curse
Writes [this] magic verse,
I must write another,
Followed by yet another.

My flesh and blood
Poured out on selfish white,
Greedily it takes all I have
And asks for more.

More?!

I have more... more than I can give,
The greedy white bares its fangs,
It hungers,
I hurt.

This well, it never runs quite dry,
This blood; it hurts to bleed so right.
The artwork belongs to Dan Scott, other pieces of his can be found at [link] .... he's AMAZING ^.^

I wrote this a while back while I was on The Poet Sanctuary , it still means alot to me.

It Kinda gives the feeling that the paper is a sentient being that has a perpetual hunger for your creativity... i guess it IS just that, but you phrase it so beautifully
